WIB Work Skills Program

  • Students need support to successfully transition to the world of work and post secondary academic and training opportunities. This program will provide the occupational training as well as coordinate academic support, to students and offer them a better understanding of the link between academic success and the world of work.
  • Students will work directly with the Youth Program Coordinator to assess their personal skills and interests. Students will learn such concepts as cooperative goal setting and networking.
  • This program is aimed at guiding students and providing them the encouragement to succeed.

The Work Skills Program will provide students with:

  • Tutoring/study skills training
  • Individual career assessments
  • Summer work experiences
  • Occupational skills training
